Hangin' with the Boys!

On Fridays I go over to my sister Alison's and watch her boys so she can take a nap. Preston is 2 and her twins are 8 weeks. Here are some pictures from today.

Happy Mothers Day!!

Today we went out to Brett's parent's house in Gilbert because his brother was calling from his mission in South Africa. He is doing well and it was good to talk to him.

Brett's parent's have a a dirt road behind their house and while we were there 10 of their neighbors cows got out and came down the road to the Garner's. Then the cows ran out onto Ray Road and split up. Half went toward Val Vista and the rest headed toward Lindsay. So we all jumped in our cars to try and round them up. Traffic had to pretty much stop because the cows were running all over the street! Then the cops showed up to make sure no one hit a cow and to help us round them up.


This is after half of the cows were rounded up and we got them to go back down the dirt road. I felt like I should be on a horse and have a lasso.

D-Backs!!

Brett and I went to a Diamond backs game against the San Francisco Giants. The seats were awesome! 2nd row between first base and right field, thanks for the tickets Dad! The D-backs totally won so it was a good game to go to. The people in front of us were totally drunk and got louder the more they drank. They were heckling the Giant's right fielder, it was awesome!

The Long Awaited Pictures

Believe it or not I finally updated our blog!! Below is a slide show of our house. There aren't any pictures of the outside or the family room. maybe I'll post those in about 6 months. J/K I'll try and post them soon. Brett and I are doing well. We are both working a ton and Brett is super busy with school. Besides that, there is nothing to report. Hopefully, we will get the landscaping in our back yard done by the end of the month so we can bring our little doggie home.

The Arizonans

It's Stef! I got a job with a really great dentist in Mesa! I start on Monday! It's not as close to where we are going to live as I wanted but it's not too bad. His name is Dr. Dickerson. We did a walk through of our house on Monday so now they are going to start putting up the drywall! It should be done in about middle to end of September. It seems like the date keeps getting later and later. We'll be in before we know it. I took some pictures at a resort we went to for our 2 yr. anniversary but our cord to connect the camera to the computer is packed away somewhere. When I find it I will post it.

AZ Residents!!

We have finally moved back to AZ! Our house will be done probably mid September. I was hoping for August but whatever. We went to look at it yesterday and they had done most of the electrical work. So, next we'll do a walk through with the builder then they will start covering the walls.

Now we are on the job hunt! We have taken resumes around and we both have interviews. Brett is trying to get a job with T-Mobile and I'm trying to find a dentist close to Queen Creek.

Our 2 year anniversary was last Sunday the 24th (2 years goes by fast) but we never celebrated because we were packing and moving so this week we are going to a resort in Phoenix! The timing worked out great because we can't move into where we are staying until Friday! So, life is good!
